There have also been reports of worker fatigue caused by long periods of operation in these conditions.

There are many instances where operators may have been exposed to VOCs in the workplace. This could include a malfunction in a gas line, leakages from natural gas appliances, or emissions from manufacturing plants. The worker must wear a suitable mask to protect his/her eyes. For operators working with hot water systems, they should wear a gas mask that filters and traps dangerous gases.
